About Dr. Smith

Dr. Lance Smith cares deeply for his patients and works hard to create a treatment plan that is unique to each individual. He recognizes people are often scared to see a spine specialist because they feel their health issue may not have a solution. Dr. Smith knows it is important to establish trust and make patients feel comfortable, so they can be confident in his recommendation. His ultimate goal is for patients to feel like a member of his family, so they can talk openly and work together toward a positive course of action, whether surgical or non-surgical. Dr. Smith was raised in rural Missouri. His inspiration to become a physician came from his grandfather, who was a pharmacist in town. He enjoyed watching the impact his grandfather had on people's lives. Dr. Smith is a seasoned hunter and loves spending time outdoors. He and his wife, Kristen, have one child and another on the way. They work with several non-profit organizations to support the needs of the community.
