About Dr. Belisle

Dr. Jeffrey G. Belisle is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, hip, and knee surgery, with a focus on hip arthroscopy and shoulder surgery. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine, bringing extensive expertise in caring for NCAA Division-1 (D-1) athletes and highly-trained military service members.

Dr. Belisle’s career began after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, where he became a pilot and flew missions worldwide while also earning a Master of Business Administration. He later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. Following residency, he pursued a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Utah.

His military career took him to MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, where he treated military personnel and performed complex trauma surgeries during deployment to Afghanistan. He continued to serve his country in northern Virginia, teaching residents and treating patients in the National Capital Region, and later served at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, providing care for D-1 athletes, cadets, and military beneficiaries. Dr. Belisle retired from active duty after nearly 25 years of service in 2025.

Dr. Belisle recently moved to Oklahoma with his wife and three children to be close to family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his active family, regularly attending church, running, and snowboarding.
