Dr. James Mitchell stresses the importance of communication with his patients. He respects their desire to be heard and believes their involvement is key to positive outcomes during their healthcare journey. As a hip and knee replacement specialist, Dr. Mitchell embraces the opportunity to offer hope, restore mobility and improve quality of life for his patients. He knows it can make an impact on their lives. He grew up in a family focused on medicine. As the son of a pharmacist and a nurse, Dr. Mitchell saw firsthand how clinicians could work with patients to help meet healthcare needs in a variety of ways. Now, he shares his experience in the medical field with his kids by serving as a Team Physician for Crossings Christian School athletics working with student-athletes. Dr. Mitchell likes to spend his free time reading and playing golf. He and his wife enjoy watching their kids play youth sports and are involved in additional school and community activities.
