Outpatient Surgery Center

McBride recognized a notable anniversary this summer! In June, McBride’s Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) celebrated 2 years of service since opening doors in June 2019. The facility, located just north of the Hospital at 9801 North Oklahoma Avenue, includes 6 full-size surgical suites, 24 Phase 1 Prep/Recovery Bays and 12 Phase II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Beds. McBride broke ground on the 35,500 square foot OSC in November 2017 shortly after the grand opening of its 126,000 square foot Medical Office Building on the main hospital campus at 9600 Broadway Extension.

McBride’s goal was to provide a beneficial alternative for patients in need of outpatient procedures focused on the knee, shoulder, foot, ankle, hip, spine and pain management. The OSC has exceeded expectations since Day 1 and continues to serve as a convenient option for patients seeking additional accessibility to McBride services and as an extension of excellence to McBride’s growing healthcare organization.

As a patient, it is important to identify the exact McBride location for scheduled procedures prior to arrival. Although both facilities reside on McBride’s main hospital campus and enjoy great proximity to one another, arriving at the proper location with insurance verification card and photo ID in hand, reduces stress and starts the process off on the right foot.
